Lunch Time Quick Guide

30 Minute Lunch is on a fixed schedule unless otherwise approved or changed by your manager
5-minute grace period (break unpaid if you go over grace period)
30 consecutive* minutes paid (paid for by NEF in straight time only)
- If you punch out for 20 minutes, you will be paid for 20 minutes
- If you punch out for 35 minutes, you will be paid for 30 minutes, 5 minutes will be unpaid
- If you do not take a lunch, no time will be added to your timecard
Lunch Time (again, paid in straight time. NOT added to OT) will be broken out on your paycheck as code “3^rd” on the Earnings portion of your pay stub.
